All tickets on sale for Supercheap Auto
Bathurst 1000
13/04/2007: All remaining tickets for the
Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 are on sale
from Monday. Grandstand seats and general
admission tickets will be on sale to the
public following an amnesty that allowed
people who attended last year’s event to
re-secure their tickets.
The iconic Australian event at Mount
Panorama from October 4-7 celebrates its
45th year in 2007, marking some of the
greatest years, milestones and moments in
sporting history.
One of those was last year with the
emotional tribute to the great Peter Brock
when 193,000 fans turned out to pay their
last respects and prodigy Craig Lowndes with
team-mate Jamie Whincup held aloft the Peter
Brock Trophy for the first time.
Again some 32,000 people will camp on the
Mountain itself while extra grandstands,
dedicated family areas and the popular motor
home park will all return.
On the track the Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series
will headline the support program
guaranteeing plenty of action throughout the
four-day mega carnival.
